The Federal Trade Commission's Funeral
     Rules require disclosure of costs and
     services to the consumer.
          While these do assist in getting the facts,
     it is still up to the consumer to obtain the 
     prices and compare with other firms' services
     and costs.  These prices vary greatly
     between funeral homes and it should
     be the obligation of each family to make these comparisons.
