MINIMUM SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF This is a basic fee we charge every family for our professional services in assisting them with their preferences. It includes a proportionate share of the taxes, licenses, utilities, and business expenses required to serve the public on a 24-hour, ready-to-serve basis. Our charge includes, but is not limited to, consultation with the family, administrative and clerical service, preparation of death certificate for certification by the physician or coroner and necessary permits, filing the death certificate with the appropriate government agencies, consultation with clergy, crematory or common carrier, assistance with union or insurance papers, planning the funeral or memorial service as determined by the family. (This fee is already included in our charges for our PACKAGE PRICING as shown on page 4 for Traditional Service, Graveside Service, Direct Cremation, Immediate Burial, and Forwarding and Receiving Remains to another Mortuary.) |
