When I was small and fell with a scrape to the knee, Bruce would carry me home and say “Mom, the baby got hurt”. As adults, he would kiss my cheek at every visit as his signature greeting. My heart is so deeply wounded. Bruce, I loved you immensely, to the depth of the sea. I love your wife as a sister and your daughters as my own. Wait for me at the gates of heaven. I will live for the moment that our spirits unite but just know that I am going to fuss at you some when I get there!

I remember what a happy child Bruce was. Full of energy and always smiling. I look forward to Bruce and our grandparents greeting me in Heaven one day. I dearly love you, cousin. Sherrie
