Allen Lloyd Foye

It is with profound sadness and endless love that we announce the passing of Allen Lloyd Foye of Alpine, CA, who left us peacefully on June 20, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 4, 1943 in San Diego, Al was the son of Ralph and Roberta Foye.  He grew up in Lemon Grove before graduating from Mount Miguel High School and went on to attend college while starting his one and only beloved career.  His dedication and strong work ethic led to a fulfilling 38 year career in the grocery business starting as box boy at Food Basket and progressing to Store Manager and  then Grocery Supervisor as the company became Lucky Stores and then eventually Albertson's.  

He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his devoted wife of 60 years, Sheryll (Lane) Foye ; his children who meant the world to him, Carol Stratton (spouse Brent Stratton),  and Darren Foye (spouse Debbie Foye); his adored grandchildren, granddaughter Kailey Archuleta (spouse Kirk Archuleta). and grandson Austin Woods (spouse Courtney Woods) and two beautiful great granddaughters, Emma Archuleta and Ava Woods.  He is also survived by his brother, Marvin Foye.
