Ana Delia Carrillo Rodriguez, 39, passed away on Mother’s Day, May 12, 2024. Born and raised on the West Coast, with roots spanning from San Diego to Los Angeles, Ana lived a vibrant and adventurous life.
Ana is survived by her parents, Alma Felan and Gerardo Rodriguez, and her dear siblings, Jerry Rodriguez, Candy Rodriguez, and Gina Hirata and her niece and nephew Penelope and Tristan who she adored. Family was everything to Ana . Though she did not have children, her loyal dog Asabache was her constant companion and source of joy.
Ana’s life was marked by her insatiable curiosity and love for exploration. A true vagabond ! She traveled extensively, experiencing the world through road trips, hiking, and surrounding herself in nature. No doubt she would of visited all national park given the opportunity.She pursued architecture in school and built a career as a hospitality specialist, but her true passion lay in the festival entertainment industry, where she worked as a dedicated production crew member. Ana was a certified forklift operator, Delicious cook, environmental advocate, festival mom, and total rock n roll star.
Her love for live music, art, and museums was evident in every single aspect of her life. Ana was a free spirit who believed in God and cherished the beauty and wonder of the world around her.
A funeral service to honor Ana’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 11am at the Singing Hills Cemetery in El Cajon. Following the service, a celebration of her life will take place at the Singing Hills Golf Course. 12pm-3pm
Ana’s adventurous spirit, love for life, and dedication to her work and passions will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. She will forever be in our hearts; please join us to honor her memory.
