Burchard Gallup Deming

Burchard “Butch” Deming passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on November 4, 1928, Butch lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to family, and a wonderful sense of humor. At age 22, he met the love of his life, Bonnie, at a local drive-in. Together they shared 75 years of love, friendship, and memories.

Butch proudly served his country while stationed in South Korea and later built a successful career as a tax accountant. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who found joy in spending time with family and friends. Butch will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, unwavering dedication to his family, and the many lives he touched throughout his 97 years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie, their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life for Butch will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 2pm – 4pm at Westmont of La Mesa, 9000 Murray Dr. La Mesa, CA 91942; family and friends are welcome to attend.
