Cecelia B. Hair died peacefully in an assisted living facility on
Saturday 10/14 after a sudden decline in her health. She was
less than two months shy of her 101st birthday. She was born
in Bridgeport, Connecticut where she met her husband Dwight
while he was stationed there in the U.S. Army Air Corps during
World War II. They were married for 62 years and lived most of
their life together in Northern Virginia where Cecelia worked as
an administrative assistant at the Department of Agriculture in
Washington, DC. She led a good long life and enjoyed her
retirement in San Diego for many years. She is survived by her
son Charles and her daughter-in-law Carole. She will be interred
at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery along with her husband
Dwight Hair who predeceased her.
