Charles Willard Robbins

Our Father entered heaven on November 21^st, 2023.  During his life he donated  

 service to community and country. A survivor of Iwo Jima during WW2, he was given

a citation of valor for saving a comrades life.  After WW2 he married Cora L. Robbins

and remained together for 54 years.  He was a Loan manager for Beneficial Finance

for 35 years.  He joined the North Park Lions in 1950’s and had

been recognized  for Lion of the year and the prestigious Melvin Jones award.

He was a Mason in the Silver Gate lodge. As a member of the Methodist Church he graduated from

Stephens ministries and became a volunteer at Grossmont Hospital. A family man, he is preceded in death by

his wife Cora and son Val.  He is survived by sons Charles Stephen and James Michael. He is also survived

by seven grand children and numerous great grand children.

He will be missed.
