Eugene Grant Simpson

Eugene Grant Simpson (93) of San Diego, California passed away peacefully on July 12, 2023.

Eugene, known as Gene, was born to Robert and Isadore Simpson on November 18th, 1929, in San Diego, California. Enjoyed his early and teen years in San Diego’s backcountry hourseback riding, fishing and hunting.

Eugene is survived by three children, Lynda, Brenda, and Grant. Four grand children, Ben, Bree, Blaine and Zack. Three great grandchildren, Quintin, Gwendolyn, and Nolan. Eugene was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy, that is also being honored during the service.

Eugene’s family will host a service on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Mirimar National Cemetary. Please arrive at 1:50, as the service will start promptly at 2:15 PM. We will meet at the entrance staging area.
