The great-grandchildren who carry forward his spirit include Anthony, Geonni, Chari, Demetria, George, Hope, Allan, Parker, Robert, and Carmelo. George also held a special place in his heart for numerous nieces and nephews, whom he cared for dearly.

George’s parents, Beatrice and Cephus, along with his siblings Cephus, Jeremiah, Dorothy, Mary, and Noemi, preceded him in death. Their memories remain integral to the story of his life and the foundation of his family.

Services to honor George McGee’s life will be held on April 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Featheringill Mortuary, located at 6322 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA. Those who knew George are invited to gather to celebrate his enduring legacy, reflect on his remarkable contributions, and pay their respects.
