Harry Carson Robertson, Jr. passed away peacefully on September 21st at the age of 56.
He was born in Staunton, Virginia on the 17th of April 1970, to Harry Robertson, Sr. and Linda Gayle Trull. As a Navy family, they moved all over, including Long Beach and San Diego, CA, Great Lakes, IL, Staunton, VA, and Brunswick, GA, finally ending up back in San Diego in 1984. Carson, known as Peach, while attending Point Loma High School, was a standout player on the legendary Pointer football team. In 1987, the Pointers went 13-0 and won the CIF championship, a shining achievement and memory in Carson's life. He graduated from Point Loma High in 1988.
After high school, Carson began working at CWX, a trucking company, which kicked off his long-time profession of working in logistics. Carson married his high school sweetheart Rebecca Aubery in 1992. They have one son together, Maverick Browne Robertson.
In 2007, he then married Angel Christine and moved out to Grand Junction, Colorado for a time before making his way back to where his career started, San Diego. A major achievement in his life was being promoted to the service center manager at the dockyard where he started his career as both a dockhand and truck driver.
Always a lover of golf, he loved being out and about with his friends. Carson was always one for telling stories; his boisterous laugh was infectious and brought a lot of great people into his life. No matter where he was, he would always learn people’s names and remember them. He was a wise man as well, always happy to offer advice and help out people in need.
Carson is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his most favorite human on the planet, his son Maverick, as well as his sisters, Jody Robertson-Cannon (Sean) and Lynett Turner (Jerry). He also has many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Carson will always be known most for his generous nature. He had a lot of love to give, and he will always be in our hearts because of it. Give a toast to a great man, he will be missed by all of those whose lives he touched.
Carson's Celebration of Life will be held at the Mission Trails golf course, 7380 Golfcrest Pl, San Diego, CA 92119, on November 14, 2026, at 4pm. Donations may be made in his name to any charity you feel reflects Carson’s generous and inclusive nature.
