Jack Edward Bland

Jack Edward Bland passed January 7 from complications related to Covid 19. He is survived by his brother, Robert and his 2 nephews, William and Nathan. Jack was born in San Diego December 26th, 1954. His parents, Joe and Florence Bland had recently moved to San Diego. Joe was in the Navy and they found San Diego to their liking and thought it would be a good place to raise their sons. Jack attended Starlight Center as a youngster and eventually was able to find entry to Noah Homes, where he lived for 14 years in a group home with only 6 clients to each house. It was a wonderful place for Jack and he loved living there. With Noah Homes he was able to travel to France on one occasion and made many trips to Las Vegas. He loved the slots! Jack loved to dance and entertain and was very social. He was kind and loving and had a perpetual smile for most of his life. We will miss him dearly!
