Jesse was born June 22, 1950, in Paris, Texas to the parents of Jessie and Roxie Humphrey.
Jesse attended Waldo City Schools in Waldo, Arkansas for his education. He accepted Christ at an early age at which time he attended Westside Church of Christ.
Jesse enlisted in the United State Marines December 28, 1970. After being discharge from the Marines, Jesse worked as a professional painter until his health started to fail. Jesse loved dogs and was a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan, win or lose!!
Jesse was preceded in death by his son, Jerail Humphrey. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his children, Quan Pollock (Steve) of Beaufort, SC and Latrejara Humphrey of Victorville, CA; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three sisters; Gladys Binford of Fort Worth, TX, Brenda Waggnor (Lloyd), of Vernon, TX, and Debra Washington of Rockwall, TX; and two brothers Raymond White of Stockston, CA and Sidney White (Monica) of La Mesa, CA. He has a very special aunt, Louise,and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
