Jessica Elise Idenmill, 55, left us on January 20, 2026. She is survived by her husband, Ethan Idenmill, her father-in-law, Martin Mill, her sister, Jennifer Iden-Liss, her brother-in-law John Liss, her nephew, Kian Liss and many cousins and friends throughout the country and the world.
Jessica entered this life in a hurry on November 16, 1970. She grew up in Oak Park, Michigan, surrounded by family and friends. She graduated from Ferndale High School and was also an exchange student at the Albert Einstein Gymnasium in Frankenthal, Germany. She attended Eastern Michigan University, where she studied Biology. She later returned to academia and achieved an Bachelor's Degree in English from Wayne State University. Her writing earned her kudos and awards.
In the early 1990's, she moved to San Diego, where she met her husband Ethan. They were married for 27 years. They moved to Davis, California, and then Sacramento. They attended CSU Sacramento together, where Jessica earned her Second Bachelor's Degree in Biology. They returned to San Diego where Jessica attended San Diego Mesa College and earned her certificate as a Registered Veterinary Technician.
She loved to make jewelry, specializing in copper wire-wrapped earrings and pendants. She enjoyed cake decorating. Over the years she had many cats and rabbits. She collected Russian nesting dolls and studied Ancient Egypt. She played drums. She enjoyed travel, visiting places across the United States, as well as Canada, Mexico, Israel, Greece, Italy, the Carribean, Yugoslavia, Germany, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. She loved Disney, enjoying many visits to Disneyland and Disney World. She enjoyed comic-book conventions, meeting many of the celebrities who starred in her favorite shows. She was a long-time fan of Professional Bull Riding, attending many rodeos and other events over the years. She also enjoyed watching baseball and hockey.
