Jimmie (Jim) R. Diermeier of Santee, CA. passed away on April 9, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife Marlene Diermeier, (nee Caplan) his sister- in -laws Randy Caplan, Sharon Chase, and Mindi Wachs (Ken) his nephews Jake and Brady Wachs. He also leaves behind his goddaughters whom he adored, Tarmara Wolfenden Misner and Bobbi Pinckney Wolfenden. He leaves behind many cousins scattered across the country.

He’s preceded in death by his parents Erma and Robert Diermeier, his in-laws Harriet and Sol Caplan, his sister Colleen Layne, his brother- in- laws Allan Chase and Robert Layne.

Jim served in the US Army from 1968-1970 and is a graduate of USC.
