Joe J Lopez
May 16, 1932 — November 25, 2023
Joe was born and raised in San Diego, He served in the National Guard and the US Army. He loved sports. He played softball, basketball and was a CIF wrestling champion.
Joe owned Fifth Avenue Boxing Club in San Diego for 43 years. He managed, trained and was a corner man for many professional fighters. Boxing and dancing was his passion.
He is survived by his son John and David and his daughter Renita and 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren
He was proceeded in dearth by his wife Rosalie Garcia and his daughter Theresa.
