Karen Beth Hebets

Karen Beth Hebets, born Karen Beth Hackebill on October 9, 1961, passed away peacefully May 29, 2026 and is now reunited with her beloved husband, Bruce Edward Hebets, who preceded her in death on January 9, 2019.

Karen is survived by her three children: Brian (and his wife Janae), Amanda (and her husband Miguel), and Tiffany; her five grandchildren, Jasmine, Ethan, Kalena, Ailani, and Kiana. She was one of seven siblings — Darryl, Bob, Betty and Al, and was preceded in death by her siblings Joy and Ray. Karen was caring, inspirational, and made a difference to many throughout her life.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Therese Parish on June 12th at 11am, followed by a gathering at the parish. The family will then proceed to Holy Cross Cemetery, arriving at approximately 2:30pm, where Karen will be laid to rest beside Bruce. In the spirit she so deeply loved, the family will host a Celebration of Life in August with an Aloha theme — a day Karen herself wished for.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
