Kathleen Anne Blackstock (Dull), age 68, of San Diego, California, passed away surrounded by love. Born and raised in San Diego, Kathleen remained deeply connected to the place she called home throughout her life.
Kathleen was the beloved daughter of Charlene Clark and James Spalding. Above all else, she was a devoted mother who gave her whole heart to her children. Caring, selfless, and endlessly loving, she made everyone feel welcomed, supported, and cherished—not just her own children, but anyone lucky enough to be part of her life.
Kathleen had a creative spirit and loved being crafty, always finding joy in making things by hand. Her home was the heart of family gatherings, where she delighted in having everyone over for dinner, filling the house with warmth, laughter, and comfort. The kitchen was one of her favorite places, especially when she was surrounded by those she loved.
Christmas held a special place in Kathleen’s heart. She treasured every tradition—driving around to look at Christmas lights, baking cookies together, and creating memories that her family will carry on forever. Those moments captured who she was: thoughtful, joyful, and deeply connected to her family.
Kathleen’s love, creativity, and nurturing presence will be profoundly missed, but her spirit lives on in the traditions she created, the memories she shared, and the countless lives she touched.
