Larry Sharamitaro

September 11, 1948 — January 30, 2024

Larry Sharamitaro, beloved son, brother, uncle and godfather passed away peacefully at his home, Lakeside Manor in Lakeside, on January 30, 2024. He was born in San Diego on September 11, 1948, to Joseph and Anna Sharamitaro.. Larry's passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends.


Larry was a loving and kind-hearted person who touched the lives of many. He had a passion for life and brought joy to all those around him. His warm smile and jovial nature were infectious.


Larry had a deep love for his family. Growing up with his siblings May Corona, Alex Sharamitaro, Sam Sharamitaro, Pearl Jones and Joe Sharamitaro. he formed strong bonds that lasted throughout his life. Larry's parents instilled in him the values of hard work, and compassion, which guided him through his journey.


 Larry is survived by his sister Pearl Jones, sisters-in-law Mary Sharamitaro and Peggy Sharamitaro, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Larry. He also held a special place in the hearts of Godsons Jeffrey and Christopher Bridge and cousins Kathy and John Bridge.


 Larry was an avid sports fan.  He loved the Padres, Chargers and Detroit Lions.


Music was yet another passion that Larry embraced. He loved nothing more than relaxing with a cup of coffee and a cookie listening to his favorite tunes playing in the background. 


Larry Sharamitaro will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His infectious laughter, genuine kindness, and zest for life will forever remain in our hearts. As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the beautiful memories he gifted us.


A graveside service to honor Larry's life will be held at Holy Cross Cemetary on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 11:00am, to allow family and friends to gather in remembrance and bid their final farewell. 


As we say goodbye to Larry, let us remember him not with sadness but with gratitude for the joy he brought into our lives. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
