Linda Faye McInerney

Linda Faye McInerney, a radiant soul whose spirit illuminated the lives of everyone fortunate enough to cross her path, passed away on November 8, 2024, in Newport Beach, surrounded by her beloved family and the unwavering support of her cherished community. Born on September 26, 1967, in Whittier, California, Linda crafted a life defined by warmth, laughter, and immeasurable contributions to those around her.

As a successful insurance broker and businesswoman, Linda navigated her professional journey with aplomb, leaving a profound impact on those she encountered. Her career also saw her stint of a private investigator. Yet, beyond her impressive accomplishments, it was the way she harmonized her professional aspirations with the art of homemaking that truly set her apart—her kitchen always occupied and her home always a safe space for guests.

Linda was a graduate of Long Beach State, where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. Her bubbly and welcoming personality made her a beloved figure, one whose voice could enchant an audience. She was always the first to be recognized at any gathering. Her amazing sense of humor and razor-sharp wit had the uncanny ability to lighten any heavy moment. 

A lover of the sun, Linda delighted in spending days reading by the pool listening to her favorite music. She held her family dear, including her husband Jim and her children, Marshall, Maxine, and McCoy. Her sense of family extended far beyond bloodlines; from neighbors to friends, she wove a tapestry of community that embraced all. Linda was an active member of the La Jolla community, volunteering her time to both schools and private organizations. 

In remembering Linda Faye McInerney, we carry forward her vibrant spirit, the laughter shared, and the warmth she brought into the world, ensuring that her legacy will continue to inspire and uplift for all time.
