Lynette (Peterson) Guidi was born on 2/20/1950 in San Diego, Californa.
She was your typical California girl who loved being around the ocean, whether surfing or fishing. You could find her surrounded by people as she was always the life of the party. She met the love of her life, Louis Guidi, Sr., and were married. Together, they had a son, Louis Guidi, Jr., and her dream of being a mom was fulfilled.
Just as much as she was dedicated to her son, Lou was dedicated to her. They had a bond that was so close, one that was true and pure. Anyone around those two understood they were more than mother and son; they were also best friends.
She had a humorous side that her daughter-in-law Carlin enjoyed bringing out in her. If they were together, laughing fits combined with inappropriate jokes were guaranteed. Lynette would be telling us to change daughter-in-law because, to her, Carlin was her daughter.
Lou and Carlin gave Lynette her only grandchild, Chloe whom she loved more than anything, and was not shy and would brag about her every chance she got.
Lynette was a remarkable woman, a survivor, and a fighter who would do anything for her family. She fought and beat breast cancer and wore that pink ribbon proudly. You could bet that if you were close to 40, she would be there to remind you every year to get your mammogram.
In the early morning hours of January 7th, 2024, Lynette passed away from natural causes. There will be no more calls telling her son to watch some crazy TV show, or holidays spent in her home that is always decorated with Ty animals and love.
Lynette is watching from above with her love, Lou Sr., her father, and her beloved cats. If you feel a breeze, that is her turning on the fan up in heaven.
