Lynn Ellen Gaffney

On May 1st, 2024, Lynn Ellen Gaffney passed away in San Diego, California at the age of 70. Lynn is survived by her sons, Scott and Drew, and her four grandsons.

Lynn was born on March 29, 1954, in New York to Gladys and James Gaffney and has three siblings, Janice, Phil, and Sharon. Lynn also gifted the world with a daughter, Renee, who passed away in 2023.

Lynn was a generous soul who was always eager to help when someone was in need. She loved being with her family and spending time with her grandkids, teaching them about animals and the environment. She loved being by the ocean and learning about animals, the human body, and how things worked.

She worked very hard her whole life to support others, namely her two sons, ensuring they could have a good life. She got her nursing degree at 58 years old in New York and dedicated herself to helping her patients, making sure they were comfortable and well cared for.  

She will be missed by her family and friends and will always be remembered in our hearts.
