Mary Lee Rancour

Mary Lee Rancour, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away peacefully on November 7th, 2024, at the age of 88 at the Temecula Valley Hospital. Born on January 5th, 1936, in Washington, PA and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth Paterson. Mary Lee was a resident of Temecula and previously resided in South Lake Tahoe, CA for 28 years.

She was the partner and soulmate for 40+ years to Donna Keating, who provided comfort and companionship throughout the years. Donna and Mary Lee raised two of her grandchildren, Ricky and Danielle Rancour. Ricky is married to Iveta Rancour and lives in South Lake Tahoe. Mary Lee was proceeded by her son, Thomas Rancour, daughter, Ruth Mattingly and grandson, Jeremy Ruiz. She leaves behind her daughter Cheri Rancour, daughter Kandas Rancour, son-in-law Marcel Mattingly. She also had thirteen grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws. 

Mary Lee dedicated many years to her working career as a Medical Records administrator and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for several local medical offices. Her professional life was marked by a steadfast commitment to supporting the medical community, and she touched the lives of many through her hard work.

Mary Lee cherished her family above all, they all brought immense joy to her life. She will be remembered for her kindness, nurturing spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. Her warm presence and loving nature will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mary Lee will be cremated, and her ashes will be distributed in South Lake Tahoe at a later date by the family.
