Meredith A. (Young) Maurer, age 91, died September 28, 2021, at home surrounded by family. Meredith was born June 10, 1930, in San Diego. Meredith met the love of her life, Edward Maurer, while attending Hoover High School, and they later married on April 25, 1948. They recently celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary.
She lived a full life as a wonderful mother and homemaker, she was often seen with a phone to her ear and enjoyed nightly calls from her children, and she enjoyed collecting dolls and other antiques. She was a long time member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband; daughters Susan Brannon (Jodie), Moncks Corner, South Carolina, and Peggy Brunette (Steve), Chimacum, Washington; a son David (Debra), San Diego, California; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
