Patricia Ann Browne, a cherished mother, devoted wife, and respected professional, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, in San Diego, CA, surrounded by family and loved ones. Born on March 29, 1948, in Dearborn, Michigan, Patricia lived a life marked by resilience, dedication, and a deep love for those around her.

Patricia’s journey began in her hometown, where she developed a lasting pride in her Polish heritage and treasured her childhood memories of visiting her grandparents’ dairy farm in Wisconsin. These early experiences instilled in her a strong sense of family values and an appreciation for hard work and community.

Her academic pursuits were both ambitious and inspiring. As a working adult, she persevered and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix—a testament to her determination and commitment to personal growth. This achievement laid the foundation for a remarkable career beginning at the National City School District. Starting as a clerical substitute, Patricia’s exceptional dedication and skill saw her rise steadily through the ranks until she became the Director of Finance. Upon retiring from this role, she continued to apply her talents as the Vice President of Advance Plastics, exemplifying her unwavering work ethic and leadership.

Patricia’s generosity and thoughtful nature touched many. Known for her quick wit and great sense of humor, she brought warmth and joy to every gathering. Family was at the heart of her life, and she especially treasured holiday celebrations. Christmas and Easter were moments when Patricia’s nurturing spirit shone brightest—making pierogies with friends and family and ensuring that every holiday was extra special for the children around her. She also delighted in reading, cooking, playing blackjack, and exploring the world through travel with those she cherished.

Her proudest accomplishments extended beyond her career and family. Patricia was deeply committed to supporting charitable causes, particularly those benefiting military members and veterans. This compassion underscored the strength and kindness that defined her.

Patricia’s family includes her loving husband, Bruce Browne of 36 years; daughters Kim Ostrowski and Keely Weatherall; son Alex Ostrowski; her sister Barbara Golden; grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will all carry forward her legacy of love and perseverance. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Josephine Golden; her brother Michael Golden; and her step-children Cheryl Mayer and Douglas Browne.

As we remember Patricia Ann Browne, we celebrate a life woven with courage, laughter, and an enduring devotion to family and community. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her, and her memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of those she loved so dearly.
