Patricia Ann LaDouceur

Patricia Ann LaDouceur, affectionately known as Patty, passed away on October 21, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. She was born an identical twin on March 1, 1953 in Raleigh, North Carolina to her proud parents. Patty's vibrant presence and unwavering dedication to helping others touched the lives of many throughout her lifetime.

Patty's career was an embodiment of her giving nature. From working at Father Joe's Village and the San Diego Blood Bank to volunteering at the American Cancer Society and Santa Sophia Church, she wholeheartedly devoted herself to caring for those in need. Her genuine empathy and selflessness were evident in everything she did. Patty's commitment to philanthropy and service left a lasting impact on the organizations that were fortunate enough to have her by their side.

Beyond her remarkable philanthropic endeavors, Patty's personality shone brightly wherever she went. She exuded a contagious zest for life that made her the life of every party. Her beautiful eyes and radiant smile could light up any room. Patty had a way of making others feel valued and cherished. Her warmth and kindness drew people towards her like a magnet, and she had an innate ability to uplift those around her.

Patty's loving spirit extended beyond her charitable contributions; it encompassed her role as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Jim LaDouceur was not only fortunate enough to call Patty his wife but also his soulmate and partner in all aspects of life. Together they shared unconditional love and built a life filled with joy and happiness.

Patty's children meant the world to her; Lee LaDouceur and Annie Parsons brought immeasurable pride and joy into her life. She cherished every milestone they achieved, providing constant support and encouragement along their individual journeys. As a grandmother to Asher Parsons, Patty embraced the joys of watching him grow with boundless love and adoration.

Patty's loving nature also extended to her daughter-in-law, Mariel Moreno-LaDouceur, and her son-in-law, Steve Parsons. She welcomed them into her family with open arms, treating them as her own children. Patty's heart overflowed with love for all those she considered kin and she made sure they always felt cherished.

Today, we bid farewell to Patricia Ann LaDouceur – a remarkable woman who touched countless lives through her acts of kindness, compassion, and unconditional love. Although she may no longer be physically present with us, the impact she made will forever remain etched in our hearts.
