Patricia Lee Moran

   It is with the deepest love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and dear friend, Patricia Lee Moran, who left us peacefully at the age of 80.

   Patricia (aka Trish) was born in Philadelphia, to parents Thomas and Mary Jane Magrann. She was the eldest of their four children. Her father's career took her to live in many parts of the world such as Norway, France and Iran. As a young woman, she moved from Philadelphia to California where she lived with family. Over the years, she worked as a ski instructor, worked in hospitality at high-end restaurants, and as an administrative assistant in multiple industries. Later, she gave birth to and raised her two children, while completing her Bachelor's degree. She was a very hardworking and loving mother.

   Trish retired in Punta Banda, Mexico, where she truly enjoyed an active social life. She spent her time volunteering and supporting various local charity organizations. She became a doting “Grandmom” to her beloved granddaughter and grandson. She hosted events at her home where she cooked delicious meals from scratch. She was proud of her Irish heritage and her Irish good luck. She always had a good joke to tell and wisdom to share while leading a toast.

   Beginning in 2024, Trish battled ongoing health issues related to her kidney cancer and kidney removal. On July 9, 2025, she passed away peacefully in her sleep, with her two children and daughter in-law by her side. She is survived by her siblings Tom, Tim and Tracey, her daughter Meghan, her son John, her granddaughter Maggy and grandson Orion. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and a wide circle of extended family and dear friends who will carry forward her light.

   All of us who loved Trish, recognized her love language as acts of service. She was always doing for others! She lived a full life and her family knows she would like for us to celebrate her life and not waste any time being sad. In her honor, we commit to not take a single day for granted, help others when we can and to smile, even with tears in our eyes. We raise our glass to Patricia Lee Moran, on a life well lived.
