Richard Alan Davenport

Richard was born in San Diego and lived in the Serra Mesa area of San Diego all the way through High school.  Richard was preceded in death by his father Robert and his mother Helen and his older brother Tom. Richard is survived by his sister's Linda and Diane. Richard also is survived by his son Tim and wife Melanie and two grandchildren McKenzie and Caleb.Richard had many long time friends from his childhood in Serra mesa and we're friends all through his life. Richard worked 30 plus years in construction mostly as a heavy equipment driver mainly handling water truck duties. He was very good at his job and loved it. Richard loved the guys he worked with and probably worked longer than he should have but he loved being around his friends and the whole family of his fellow workers. Richard loved after work going to his favorite place which was Bully's East Restaurant and Sports bar. He loved the people that worked there and the friends he made over the yrs there. The people there were his family and they had many really good times there. Richard was loved by many and he will be truly missed
