Tom was Born in Norfolk VA to Thomas and Corinne Wilson. The son of a career Naval officer he made his home in many places. He eventually came to call San Diego his home. Tom was a Loving husband to Christine Wilson for 24 years, father of Tracy Wilson and step father to Randy White, Sydney D'Angelo-Cox and Jackson D'Angelo and grandfather to Cooper and Riley. He passed away July 30th at home surrounded by family, friends and his animals.

He's survived by siblings and family. Tom Gesell, Rick and Susan Gesell, Nathan and Kate, Barbie and Lawrence Gibson, Bryce, Tenaya and Denali, Eric, Olga and Zoe Gesell. Barbie and Paul Kittle, Cindy and Bruce Clark, Ryan and Elbita Clark, Jackie and David VanDyne, David and Shannon VanDyne, Sophie, Cailin, Henry, David and Thomas, Elizabeth and Jonathan Karetji, Jennifer VanDyne, Cassandra and Angelo. He was preceded in death by his sister Diane Gesell.

Tom will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a cherished husband, caring father, distinguished pilot, lover of all animals (especially his cat, dogs and his horses), proud patriot and US Navy Veteran among many other things. He has touched so many people's lives and will forever be sorely missed.
